This Privacy Policy explains how Galaxy.ai ("we", "our", or "the app") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our AI-powered floating overlay assistant on Android. We are committed to your privacy. We do not create user accounts and we do not collect personal identifiers such as your name, email address, or phone number.
To provide AI features, the app transmits the following content to our backend server, which forwards it to OpenAI's API for processing:

If you purchase a premium subscription, the transaction is processed by Google Play Billing. We receive a purchase token from Google to validate your subscription. We do not receive or store payment card details.

About the Accessibility Service: The app uses Android's Accessibility Service to read text displayed on your screen and detect editable fields in other apps. This data is processed locally on your device and/or sent to our backend only when you actively trigger an AI action. We do not continuously monitor, log, or store accessibility data independently of your explicit requests.

Free users may see advertisements served by Google AdMob and Meta Audience Network. These networks may use your device's Advertising ID and other signals to serve personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising in your device's settings (Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization).
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we collect your consent via Google's User Messaging Platform before serving personalized ads, in compliance with the GDPR and UK GDPR.
Premium subscribers do not see any advertisements.
All AI requests are transmitted to our backend server over the network. We take reasonable precautions to protect data in transit and at rest. However, no transmission method over the Internet is 100% secure.
Galaxy.ai is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through the app, please contact us so we can delete it.
Depending on your location, you may have rights including: access to your data, deletion, correction, and the right to object to processing. Because we do not collect personal data tied to your identity, most requests can be fulfilled by clearing app data on your device. For any remaining concerns, please contact us.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
